
We often hear the term, “go within.” We may or may not have a solid concept of what that means to us. It is recommended to get in touch with our inner self, as meditation combats stress and other byproducts of operating in our chaotic world, where we tend to focus on everyone else but ourselves. All in all, going within can be the means to reach our inner light. It can be where we discover our true consciousness.

Close your eyes, be still for a moment

Take some deep breaths

Bring your focus inside, to the center of your chest

Have a knowing that your inner being is there

It may feel like a small space at first, but then expand into that inner being, keep expanding

Now you’re YOU, be YOU for a while, feel what it is like being YOU

You may experience an expansiveness, you may see or feel a spinning of colorful energy, you may feel heat- just observe and welcome the experience

Let any thoughts just swirl around outside of you, let them not be YOU

When you’re in this space, know this is YOU

The gift of meeting yourself in this space is that you can walk around on the Earth, being YOU

Now you can be in this Earthly world, but not of it. You can be here, because you are here, but you can be not from here. When you are this expanded self, you are inviting your higher self in. Your higher self can reach you and touch you, and you will find your inner light more and more. And you will see that your creation that is your life, will shift, and you will like it more and more. So, any time you catch yourself pointing fingers in your mind about everyone else, you can drop down into this meditation, and everything will change… because, guess who is creating it? And you will prove this to yourself, by changing YOU.
