Nourishment & Detox

With an increasing amount of toxins coming at our bodies in our food, air, water and personal products, what can we do to counteract damage? I may not know you personally, but I care about you, so I want you to take a few moments to look at your own personal detox program. I could rattle off statistics that would shock you (amount of metals in our air,) but you are an intelligent Soul, you can search them out if you are not already aware. My advice would be… best to start slow, listen to your body and work up to a daily detox. Now, I must say that I am not a medical expert, just someone who has been detoxing for 5-6 years and is sharing her experience and research here with friends.

Once the body is signaled to go into a cleanout process, which it knows how to do, it will release what it knows does not belong and will replace them with better building blocks. Our bodies have an intelligence and by using our conscious intention, we can give them instructions. We may not have ever thought about communicating our appreciation to our bodies. Thanking our body for being our chosen vehicle on this physical Earth plane might sound silly but it might not be a bad idea to make it a regular thing. During this ascension process, all rules are changing and now on a consistent basis we are receiving frequencies and codes that are upgrading our bodies. Detoxing can facilitate or possibly accelerate the process.

A practical framework for detoxing the body, according to my understanding, goes something like this:

1. Flush the body with fluids and aid the body with helpers that grab toxins and carry them out. Water, alkaline water, detox teas and/or juices. Toxin grabbing helpers include activated charcoal, chlorella, magnesium and zeolite. Superfoods such as cilantro, ginger, turmeric, leafy greens, spirulina, chlorophyll and Irish moss can also assist.

2. Provide better nutrients for the body to pick up and replace bad toxins that are released from cells. By consciously putting more nutrient dense foods or drinks into our bodies, we are giving it better choices and training it to discard toxins automatically. Aim for an increased intake of antioxidants to combat oxidative stress and prebiotics for optimal gut health.

3. Improve elimination. Fiber, fruit and juices… do what you have to do to get the pipeline cleaned out. We are not aware that much of our daily chronic problems are due to a backup of fecal matter, so do what you gotta do to get it moving and get it out. That goes for bladder and kidneys as well.

4. More sleep and less stress. Help your body carry out its job by giving it enough rest and decrease stress which can interfere. (I know, easier said than done.)

5. Try to limit toxins coming into the body as much as possible. Try to use bath and cleaning products that have less chemicals and only natural ingredients. Think about alternatives to insecticides and weed killers. Filter water as much as possible. Air inside the house can be improved with indoor air cleaners. Don’t hate me- but try to limit alcohol, sugar and salt as much as possible. A homemade detox bath consisting of equal parts baking soda, epsom salts, sea salt and borax can be of benefit. Also, a rife/plasma/scalar frequency machine can send our bodies detox frequencies, as well as addressing a myriad of other health issues.

Detox Tea

1 handful of Parsley
a pinch of chopped Celery
a pinch of Fennel Seeds
10-15 Cherry Stems
1 leaf chopped Dandelion
1 pinch Couch Grass (grows everywhere)
1 pinch Corn Silk (from Red Indian Corn if possible)
1 Blackberry Leaf

Make in a Quart jar.
Steep 5 minutes, cool and strain into mug.
Sweeten as desired. Enjoy.

This discussion we’re having is just to get you started thinking about what you can do to amp up your own detox plan. But, I wouldn’t be a good friend/Mom if I didn’t at least mention the importance of detoxing mentally and emotionally. Shadow-work and understanding our own patterns of wounding may not be our first choice for something to do on a Saturday, but when cleared, our bodies become lighter and less dense, a fast track to an all around detox that can super-charge our future and our destiny.
