Father,

It is with compassionate action that we embark on the events of the day today. We will do everything we can to lift one another up during the events of our day. Help us to always remember that there is power in compassion, that our strength comes from a place inside where you reside, and that power comes from you. During this time of change, we will stay in our strength, while still being able to care. We will not let our inner peace be reasoned away. Help us to get to a place of peace and balance within so we be of assistance to humanity. “So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the LORD!” (Psalm 31:24)

Father, fill us with a peaceful balanced strength today from your wellspring of eternal love. Fortify our resolve to meet the challenges of the day and shine while we are doing it. Help us find the strength to lift up when we can’t seem to find it anywhere. Help us shine our light from within when we can’t see a positive thing around. May Your Love carry us through the roughest times and help us rise above everything that tries to pull us down. “Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.” (Colossians 1:11)

Help us change these times of darkness into the days of hope and glory. Let your love be the vision we hold for our world in the brighter days to come. We stand strong in our faith and we move forward together shining throughout the darkness and lighting it up as if it were the brightest day. “In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.” (Psalm 138:3)
