This was a week that commenced a great healing for America. President Trump signed two Executive Orders commencing new research and therapeutic use for Marijuana and Psychedelics. “Increasing Medical Marijuana and Cannabidiol Research” directed the Department of Justice (DOJ) and DEA to expedite rescheduling marijuana from Schedule I (no accepted medical use) to Schedule III (recognized medical use, lower abuse potential). Then Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche signed an order immediately moving FDA-approved marijuana products and state-licensed medical marijuana to Schedule III. Earlier in the week, President Trump signed Executive Order “Accelerating Medical Treatments for Serious Mental Illness” directing federal agencies (FDA, HHS, DEA, VA) to fast-track review and approval of promising psychedelics (e.g., ibogaine, psilocybin, MDMA) for conditions like treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, and other serious mental illnesses, with emphasis on veterans and expand access pathways, including under the Right to Try Act for investigational therapies. Also exciting news in healing, DMS Director Dr. Oz and FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary announced this week that there will be a new fast-tracking of new medical technology devices.

America is spiritually healing with the America Reads the Bible event, an all week long reading of the Bible inspired by Ezra the Priest and Scribe who brought out the Book of the Law of Moses and stood on a wooden platform, opened the scroll, and read it aloud from morning until midday (several hours) while the people stood and listened attentively. The Levites explained and translated the meaning so the people could understand it. The response was profound: reverence. The people said “Amen! Amen!”, weeping as God’s Word convicted their hearts, repentance, worship, and renewed commitment to God’s commands. This led to spiritual revival, covenant renewal, and practical action rebuilding national identity and obedience. This reading of the Bible is again having a profound effect on the nation, and the world as a whole. As we rededicate to Our Lord and Savior with His Word and the pure intention of our Hearts.

The U.S. is still directing the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz while Iran tries to find leadership to send for negotiations. 8 Iranian women were set to be executed in Iran and President Trump stopped it from happening, saving their lives. Although the situation remains tense, SecWar Hegseth and Chairman Caine maintain that everything is being managed and handled by our expert Military with maximum effectiveness and efficiency. President Trump announced that a Peace Agreement between Israel and Lebanon is close so the ceasefire agreement is extended by three weeks.

Key events that happened this week are the Supreme Court ruling striking down President Trump’s use of IEEPA to impose tariffs, the Department of War flew a next-generation Small Modular Nuclear Reactor (SMR), in 3 USAF C17 Globemaster III planes to U.S. Military Installation where it will be assembled in ~10-12 weeks by Valar Atomics where it will generate enough power for 5,000 homes. More nuclear SMRs are coming. President Trump spoke in front of workers at Coosa Steel Corp in Georgia, telling the world their success story. Enough to power ~60 million homes. President Trump says that Americans will see bigger tax refunds this year. Inflation is keeping steady at 2.4%, gas prices are down 7.5%, and wages are up 1.25%.

The Glyphosate Problem (Roundup)

American Farmers are so highly dependent on our current farming system using glyphosate herbicides. The whole field is sprayed, and the crops are not killed because they have been genetically altered to not be killed. This new Executive Order dated February 18, 2026 protects glyphosate-based herbicides (like Roundup) by invoking the Defense Production Act to prioritize and ensure an adequate domestic supply of them, alongside elemental phosphorus. It declares glyphosate critical to national defense and food security due to its role in efficient U.S. agricultural production.

The order delegates authority to the Secretary of Agriculture to allocate resources, require contract performance, and issue regulations to safeguard production—effectively shielding domestic producers from supply disruptions or viability risks, which critics (including some in the MAHA movement) describe as providing “limited immunity” or protection amid ongoing lawsuits and health concerns over glyphosate. This has been a heated issue. It is a main reason driving people to “buy organic.”

RFK Jr says that laser technology can replace the need for poisonous pesticides and herbicides. I can understand what a tough decision this was on how to go forward with this. Cutting out Glyphosate now would put 80% of our farmers out of business and we cannot do that. We have to transition to a new system.
