Authority

Okay, so we’re all being triggered in one way or another at the moment.  Take a breath and let’s look at it together.  We are in the process of extracting our personal dependency on an old system that doesn’t work anymore.  Let that sink in.

  • A money system that was rigged against most of us, throwing us into a cycle of survival and want and need.
  • A food system that grew animals, fruits, grains and vegetables using unhealthy chemicals, and adding ungodly things during the production of processed foods.
  • A heath system that forces doctors to spend under 15 minutes per patient, looking at a computer screen more than the actual patient during that time.  Requirements put in place to keep those doctors in line- or else.  A chain of testing, specialists, hospitals, surgeries, and medication that sucks more money away from a human being just trying to survive in a toxic environment.
  • A scientific system that says that the Earth is trying to kill us with weather, temperatures, fires, earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis and hurricanes, which may or may not be natural at all.

I could go on and on, but I won’t because that is not the energy we are staying in.  But we are recognizing it now. Some of us have been griping about it for years. We have to look at it for what it is—an old system that is done.  It is being dismantled by the fact that we are getting really good at recognizing it, we will not accept it as an authority over us, we stand for what’s right and we are seeking better choices now.

We were brought up in a world of television and computer and cell phone technology that programmed us into certain beliefs, but are those beliefs really true?  Did that technology funnel us into behaviors that placed us into the system that drained our bank accounts, depleted our energy, and hurled us into depression and anxiety?  What do we recognize as authority anymore?  Do we still trust what commercials on our TVs, celebrities and sports figures, or politicians say anymore?  Can we trust what we are putting into our bodies and our minds?

I’m not trying to traumatize you here.  Take a breath.  Imagine yourself sitting in your home.  All these things had strings with plugs at the end, plugged into your body, your heart, your mind.  Unplug them.  No matter what pressures you are under right now, use your imagination and unplug all those plugs and just sit in quiet and just BE.  Breathe.  Feel your own divine life essence moving through your body and feel down into your heart.  Breathe.

All those old things have no authority over you.  You have been given the Divine right to freely choose what you want in your life, by God, period.  There is no authority but your own, through God.  If you were in a blank place, what would you create?  Don’t give a second thought to the swirling chaos going on outside the sacred space you are in right now.  What would you create?  Write it down and keep it somewhere to use as a guide later… or not, it’s up to you.

If we are powerful enough to create our reality, then why is all this chaos still going on around us?  I guess there are still a few plugs left from the old system yet to unplug.  Let’s look at how deep this goes…  If the supply chain has been interrupted and thousands of container ships are stuck out at sea, then our future is changing.  Things we are going to need in the future may not be there.  We may see a new style of clothing we want to buy and cannot get it- anywhere.  Things we ordered for our home may not show up, and our phone calls and emails to suppliers go unanswered because they don’t know when it will show up either.  We may never be able to buy that pricey item in that pricey catalog that will impress our friends. We may not be able to upgrade to the newest phone or computer or TV like we had hoped.

Maybe, just maybe, we are slowly being weaned off all of the things that we have used to distract us from what was really bothering us, because we are being asked to slow down and look at ourselves and deal with the uncomfortable feelings we have been running from through those things that distract us.  Maybe this process is bringing us to a quiet place of self-reflection.  Okay, many of us are freaking out, but one way or another we will have to let go of what used to take up our time and keep us going.  It has to.  The old system is leaving and a new one is coming, and we are going to become the creators of that new system.

One of the things we may see is that we have been using that authority to avoid taking responsibility for our own lives.  That’s a tough one to admit to ourselves, but necessary to get through this.  It’s easy to throw blame and feel victimized with what we are coming out of here, in fact it is part of the realizations in this great awakening.  Yes it’s true, but we can’t get stuck there.  We have to move forward.  As with any processing of a profound realization… sit with it, feel it, release the emotion, keep the wisdom gained from it, heal, move on.  Part of that old system was making us feel that there was something wrong with us… we were uneducated, unsuccessful, unworthy, unlucky, unhealthy, malfeasant, dangerous inept and failures.  All untrue ideas that propelled us into the old system that thrived on our dependence on it.  If we thrived in that system, we were awarded with abbreviations after our name that commanded respect.  If we couldn’t take in the programming from our schooling, and couldn’t be part of perpetuating that system, we were downgraded… and our own fellow members of society, our family and friends and neighbors contributed to that.

We are not bad people.  We were part of a system that led us to believe that we were, so that those in power could stay in control.  Many are saying we did this to ourselves by being asleep and not holding those who are supposed to be in service accountable, and on some level maybe we were… but this has been planned for thousands of years.  It was published in books and more recently shown to us in our entertainment with the lame excuse that because we did not object to it, we gave our consent.  No We Did Not.  Most of us were too traumatized and struggling to survive.  This was planned, and executed by people who knew exactly what they were doing to funnel us into a cowpen of complacency.

It did not work though.  Their plan has failed.  We have awoken and are awakening and standing in the power of our own authority over our own lives.  We are speaking out.  When we are shushed up, we speak more.  We have Divine help all around us and we have God inside of us.  As the old control systems are taken down, we are connecting inside to our own Divine Guidance, and it’s getting clearer by the day.

In order to disconnect any last strings of authority that are still plugged into us, we might try looking at how we claim authority over others.  The concept here is the trickle-down effect.  How the old-system society has judged us and held us to suffocatingly stringent rules, is how we have in turn treated eachother.  Who in our family or friends have we judged recently?  Have we been frustrated that someone hasn’t woken up yet and calls us crazy?  Do we feel we need to fix everyone around us?

You see, the thing about authority that we don’t often see, is how it trickles down into our personal lives.  We tend to make judgments on others based on our own database of personal experiences.  We think we know better than they do themselves on how to help them, and push that on them because we feel so strongly that we see it and they don’t.  It’s triggering something within us, causing us to point the finger.  Perhaps we need to make a new habit to stop a moment before firing off at someone, to ask ourselves what this situation may be saying about us.  Almost like it’s a mirror showing us and teaching us something about ourselves first.  Once we’ve looked at ourselves, then we can communicate to others more peacefully and openly… and productively.

Now this can be hard to do because it might be taking us to look at something painful in our own lives that we just don’t want to see (or have time to do.)  But, as the healing and maturing process goes, when we finally are brave enough to look at ourselves, we stop feeling the need to make snap judgments about others and feel so strongly that there is something needing to be fixed about them.  We are able to accept that they are on their own personal journey and that’s perfectly okay.  We are on our own journey also and it’s just two different paths.  When we release our own authority to be the boss of others’ journeys, we suddenly see that others no longer have authority over us.  Yes, we do need to communicate to others about what is really happening in our world right now, but we can do it in a way that is compassionate and informative rather than bashing them over the head with it and insulting them for their slumber.  But if that’s just your style, I’m not going to judge.

The concept here is to that we disable the authority of the old system by not promoting it with people in our own lives.  The trickle-down effect of old system authority stops with us.  When we do that, something magical happens—we no longer recognize others as having authority over us personally anymore, and the emotional sting of it becomes null and clear.  We dismantle outside authority and give ourselves permission to claim our own authority.  We become free to create and that enables us to be the conscious driver of our own journey.

EXERCISE:  Take a little time to do something creative.  What innate creative gifts did you have when you were young that you haven’t done in years?  Did you draw, then doodle.  Did you dance, then boogie.  Did you sing, then yodel.  Do it.  Revive it.  Don’t worry who sees it, do it for you and just you.  Then smile that you did it.  Keep it up and grow it.  That will be the beginning of our new creative world.  I promise.
