Going Off-Path

stay on the path

We know we’re off our spiritual path when we’re feeling alone, broken and out of sorts.  Something may have thrown us a curveball and we went into a victim-blamer rant or gotten us into a pessimistic outlook.  Doesn’t have to be circumstances, but we just may have drifted off and become unplugged from Source.  Feeling anxious, irritated, combative, or just out of sorts with a mental fog can indicate to us that something is off.  Physical symptoms such as bad headaches, stomach and low back issues can let us know we need to reconnect and get back on our path.  When we realize it, the best thing to do is have a bag of tools to help us stay on-path or if needed, get back into the flow.

  1. Stay in gratitude, joy and love. Each day, try for some reason to be grateful.  Look at something we’ve taken for granted and reaffirm our gratitude for it making our life better.
  2. Ground ourselves. Using the energy centers in our feet, feel down through the ground to the center of Mother Earth.  Get into the rhythm of nature.
  3. Use self-healing care. Salt water or Epsom salt bath with essential oils.  Massage, pampering, self-healing energy meditations.
  4. Set our own frequency. Tune in and tune up.  Use music, dance, sing.
  5. Find a great spiritual teacher to help keep us on our path. Having someone to check-in with that can cue us.
  6. Clear our environment. Use sage or incense. Open windows to blow out stagnant energy.
  7. Meditate or get as still as possible. Raise energy as far as we can and ask the Angels to meet us there to help.  Talk to them.  Tell them we are here to get back on our path.  Ask them questions.
  8. Be near high vibration people. If we have to be near low vibration people, best thing to do is raise our own vibration to counteract it.  The highest vibration is love.  We can say quietly to ourselves “I love you.”
  9. Stop the cycle. Realize what is occurring or reoccurring that throws us into a tail-spin and make the conscious choice to make conscious change.
  10. Ask our Higher Self and Guides for help. Ask for assistance and watch for clues and signs.  Expect help to come in meditation or a dream.  Try the affirmations below.
  11. Do something creative.  Lose yourself in a creative project.  Doesn’t have to have a purpose except to get our creative juices flowing.
  12. Binaural beats music.  Available on Youtube.  Solfeggio frequencies are believed to have been used in ancient sacred music.
  13. Do something for someone else.  A little unsolicited kindness without expectation of return that will brighten someone else’s day goes a long way to raising one’s own frequency.

All things are possible.  Everyone’s spiritual path is unique to them.  It is not up to us to judge another because their journey is between them and their God.  Our job is to keep ourselves on our own path, and our journey is between us and God.  Could it be that a plan was made prior to coming into this life to have something happen that would shake us up in order to spur us into a possible awakening?  Almost as if we designed a life that runs us through a rock tumbler that takes off the sharp edges and smooths and then polishes us to shine as the brilliant beings of light that we truly are.
