Father,

You want us to know that we are loved. You want us to really feel it now. It is a Love so dear and precious, that it makes us melt when we come into awareness of it. So tender. It is as vast as oceans, yet focused on the smallest smile. Your Love for us, Father, makes our bodies pulsate with vitality, as we resonate in the ocean that is Your Love for us. You were the first Love that we ever knew. Your Love transforms us, transforms our lives and transforms our world in the most miraculous ways possible. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10)

We walk on Your lighted path, prepared for us beforehand. In faith, we will not shirk. In faith, we put one foot in front of the other. In Love, we interact with our world. In grace, we carry the Love that You’ve given us so that it will bear beautiful fruit. Help us be a clear, perfect channel for Your Works upon this world. Come into our hearts, come into our minds and in every thought, word and deed. “And walk in Him, having been strengthened, that you may be able to bear fruit for God, bearing fruit to maturity in every good work.” (Colossians 1:10)

You want us to remember, that although we are in service to You, and to others, that You want us to care for ourselves with the same Love that You have for us. You want us to know that it is not a sin to think of our needs and give ourself some much needed rest, time, forgiveness, understanding, care, and Love. When we cultivate the Love growing inside of us, it overflows to others and to our world. “May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.” (1 Thessalonians 3:12)
