Father,

We thank you for this day. Another opportunity to experience the blessing of life and learning to love ourselves and eachother better. Through our choices, we steer our lives around obstacles toward the path of joy we truly seek. Our love for you is vast. You light our path with your promise. You have made our paths upright with wisdom. We seek pleasant ways and paths of Peace. Open up the gates to Your Garden and show us the way. “You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy.” (Psalm 16:11)
You want us to know, that there is hope and with it, a restored faith. “May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.” (Psalm 33:22) You want us to withstand our fears, even if we are watching them play out on the world stage, right now, you want us to resist being frightened. You want us to resist falling in panic, to stay strong, drop our fear and continue onward without them. You want us to have hope.

“Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding,
for she is more profitable than silver, and yields better returns than gold.
She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.
Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.
Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace.
She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed.”
(Psalm 3:13-18)

The key to our todays is to proceed with wisdom, keeping hope and having faith of knowing your hand is at work, and we will attain gladness. But, should we falter, not to fret, you want us to know we can always come to you for restoration. You will always forgive us and we will be filled with your unconditional everlasting love, made ready to continue on Your Path of Peace again.
