Father,

We greet another day with eachother. We ask you to come into our hearts, come into our minds and our interactions. We ask for the clarity to see the ourselves and eachother only in your light. We ask for your guidance because just as James tells us “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry” as we endeavor to stay grounded and balanced by every moment.

Thank you Father for the true blessing of sharing work with one another. We will strive to “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing” as we are told in Thessalonians, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,” as it says in Hebrews. Because we know that when we focus on what can be accomplished when we work together, we all lift up toward you, so much the better for it.

So, as we take the first footsteps of this day, let us ever be reminded to stay humble, remaining centered in your light. We ask for peace in our minds with open hearts that allow us to carry that peace wherever we go and whatever we do today, as every day Father. Please grant us the wisdom of experience in all ways and in all forms, and let us ever be mindful of doing the right thing, because over all else it is what we want to do.

Today’s message was clearly about gaining peace and clarity of the mind. In order to be able to see the divinity in eachother, we must quiet our own mind first. Letting go of thoughts that take us in circles, rising up into our higher mind and choosing thoughts through an illuminated perspective, we can embrace a happier, clearer way of thinking. Careful self assessment in increments along the way allows us to step forward with a sense of peace within ourselves. Wanting to do the right thing, because it sits better with us, and we are the ones who must live with ourselves. There is a balance sheet and whether we realize it or not, at some point we are going to want it to be clear. That entails transcending our own base inclinations and consciously choosing our path, with humility.
