While we sit here, try to think of how good it could be. A life where all you are doing is free from despair. The ease with which you are moving about and accomplishing things is free-er. There’s a lightness to our steps. There’s music in our heads keeping the beat of our motion at an even steady smooth non-frantic pace. Happy in our own skin is time well spent. Figuring out the details is effortless. Balance in all moments, all nows. Flow makes it so easy to do the right thing; it is the higher path. The body runs like a well-oiled machine. You could almost take a step back and just allow the flow of good work to continue onward. Little or no pressure is involved. Just stop bringing the outside in, and allow the pure purpose from within to direct the flow. When the body says it is getting tired, start wrapping up. Lessen the flow to a quiet ebb. Clear for the next time, coming back anew…. and then give yourself the gift of peaceful rest. Great is the job done this way.
The importance of finding and maintaining balance in our daily lives becomes clear. When we are balanced inside, our world balances outside as well. But imbalance can also be the result of habits that keep us from becoming the “best us” we imagine ourselves being in our dreams. Those habits can be behaviors and circumstances that we know are unhealthy for us. They can be thoughts too…

In his blogpost, How to Create Life Balance between Dreams and Habits, Dr. Wayne states that when we admit to ourselves how we created the imbalance, we can then instruct the Universe to send us opportunities to correct it. He says that “When you do so, you discover that while the world of reality has its limits, the world of your imagination is without boundaries. Out of this boundless imagination comes the seedling of a reality that’s been crying out to be restored to a balanced environment.” Dr. Wayne suggests we be careful with our thoughts to help restore balance. He says that thoughts are mental energy and they are the currency we can use to attract what we desire. We must learn to stop spending that currency on thoughts we don’t want.
When our whole physicality is out of balance, my good friend Erik says that “physicality is a result of our mental health, our spiritual health and our genetics and what we’re eating and what we’re physically going through.” He says that any kind of therapy to restore balance needs to take all of that into consideration. He goes on to say that until we do, “we’re not going to succeed. It’s got to be holistic. Once we get that, and we’re getting to that point because people with MDs are going, ‘Hey, there’s something to this,’ we succeed. We’re right on the cusp of taking a huge light-year forward.”
