While here at our PA Amish Country campsite, Angie and I suddenly realized there was a trail nearby that went into the woods.
So we headed for the trees, where sunlight is filtered and there’s a cool woodland breeze.
And we found a creek to play in. We were in our element again. Walking the creeks and turning over rocks. We found a bunch of quartz with some good color, so I took a few home.
Birds chirped, squirrels chittered and the sunlight played tag with us.
No rattlesnakes, scorpions, water moccasins or copperheads to worry about.
Angie was a happy little puppy.
Wanna see what we found?
Red, White and Blue Quartz!

Awesome quartzes Jo, Well collected Buddy, love those colours and very patriotic too! Looks like it was an excellent trek through the woods! Cheers, Harry.
