Prayer of Peace

Light our way, O Lord. We are grateful for your guiding hand, your gentle nudges and smiling God-winks. Give us peace today, Father, the kind of peace that penetrates every fiber of our being. The kind of peace that let’s us know everything is in its place in the world and everything is happening according to your divine plan. We know, Father, that our struggles may continue, but gratitude in our hearts allows us to live joyfully and peacefully. Chaos may be surging on the storm, but we know a lasting peace inside us where you dwell. Inside that sacred space, is a love so clear and pure that when we get to know it and really feel it, we can’t help but feel deeply grateful for the absolute miracle of life that you’ve given us. Your abundance knows no limits and we are blessed beyond measure.

Help us feel that peace inside. A restful peace that allows us to breathe normally again and just be. To naturally feel a sense of hope and joy about every next moment, and a knowing that more comes after that. To feel secure in knowing that you will always guide us to be in the right place at the right timing to find our greatest passion for life, one that expands our hearts to lasting fullness.

Give us Peace in our world, O Lord. May we know the kind of peace for which we’ve been longing. One where we can raise our children and grandchildren in good health and safety. Peace that permeates all relationships with loved ones and burns away all hurts and angst, leaving the truth of love there remaining. Give us peace in our day so that we may know a hopeful future again, and the joy of setting our hands to work toward it, together.

It is in faith that we know this to be entirely possible.

In Jesus’ name,

So be it,

Amen.

Prayer of Peace and Wonderment

Father,

In gratitude for the gift of this day, we know that in this challenging time, we can always unplug and connect to the peace within ourselves that is you living in our hearts. We can be stronger in knowing that no matter what happens today, we can choose to be at peace, grounded in your love. By staying grounded in the ever-knowing that we are loved by you, no matter what we are faced with, we will not fall into despair. As in Psalm 27, “I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.”

Help us remember, Father, that a beautiful miracle is happening in our world, and we are witnessing the demolition of the old before the rebuilding of the new. We know it may look and feel strange, because “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” (2Corinthians) No matter what, we will stay grounded in the knowing that change is occurring because of your divine decree.

We promise to be steadfast and resilient, Father. As we witness these changes, we will resist fear and reach into the innocence within and remember what it was to play with newness and change with a sense of wonder and curiosity. Instead of panic, we will marvel at your work. This will fuel our fight for freedom, using the tools you gave us, our focus, our awareness and our voice. Fill our hearts with light, Father so that we may never be separated from your love.

May we all be blessed with wonderment at the miracles that are happening in front of our eyes.

In peace and loving service,

Amen.

Prayer of The Higher Road

We welcome this day with open arms, Father, because we choose to see it as an opportunity to overcome all the fears that held us back before. Every fear that caused us to stumble at one time or another has come out into the open and are being presented to us, for us to make a choice of whether to react with fear, or to stay calm, focused and patient. Father we ask for your light to always shine so that we may see clearly enough to choose the high road over the low. By staying grounded in faith, we maintain our balance in order to choose our reactions from the heart, rather than panic.

You have prepared us well, Father and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve in the Light by holding steady with patient expectation. As 2Peter states “Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position.” We know that our lives have been made strong by all that we’ve been through so that we may have the patience to see any obstacle as a door. You have carefully shepherded us so that we have everything we need to overcome and stay firmly in the light.

Please bless us, our families and loved ones, keeping us all firmly in the light. James tells us “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.” We know we are being made ready to receive your joyful promise Father, so we are staying steady in our strength of faith and choosing the higher, lighter path in all we do.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen

2023- The Year for Julian Assange’s Nobel Peace Prize

Publisher and journalist, Julian Assange, has been nominated for the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize. The letter written by Professor Marcello Ferrada de Noli, outlining the motivation for Assange’s nomination is a testament to Assange’s work for truth and transparency. People don’t really understand what has been done to Julian Assange, because he has been treated as an enemy by government agencies, when all he has done is tell the truth. Assange exposed government secrecy at the highest level. Can we honestly say the public doesn’t have a right to know or a need to know what their government has been doing in their name, using their money? Assange wanted the truth out about what powerful nations do to people without power who are victims of governments exercising that power, and then covering it up. Publishing the truth allows those governments to reform themselves, but instead they have been using the democratic process to deceive the people and criminalize journalism. Human rights are under threat all over the world. Our actions in support of the public’s right to know and in support of Assange can change the course of human rights globally. Assange’s detainment has been an attempt to silence all journalists for publishing evidence of war crimes, human rights abuses, human rights crimes, and crimes against humanity. For Peace in this world, we need more journalists to stand up and publish the truth, to bring it all out into the Light, in order to keep governments in check.

Here is Professor Ferrada deNoli’s letter.

Between Two Worlds

Humble beginnings cause us to look around and the inevitable conclusion is that we need more compassion in our world.  The collective “we” have created a momentum, and as a consequence, what no longer serves us, falls away.  You see, old ways need our attention to stay relevant.  Our focused attention gives thoughts and ideas form.  We have come to the conclusion that we must move forward in new ways.

By staying in the present moment, fully conscious, we have the power to choose our reality.  Just as if all the words in the world existed in every combination that could possibly exist in a special library of thousands of books.  All possibilities exist in our Universe.  We simply, as the conscious observer, choose the combination that unlocks our bright future.  One that is special for us, allows us to be in a positive state and brings us joy.

If we can stay grounded in honesty, integrity, gratitude and humility, we can be prepared to face whatever changes occur in the world.  Standing firmly, we can tell the things that no longer serve us… “no more.”  We as conscious, living, sovereign beings will no longer be strangled or muzzled.  Our collective will is a powerful force.  Becoming clearer to who we are enables our organic ascension, the elevation of our collective vibrations.  Darkness falls away and crumbles into dust.  Love succeeds.

After last year, we are different.  I am noticing people question the ways they do things in their personal lives.  They are wondering why they have always done it that way and why they never considered better ways to do things.  I am seeing people begin to create new and better ways for us to do things… and that is magnificent.

We’re thinking for ourselves now.  We are not accepting what we are told at 100% face value anymore.  And we’re not going to be silenced communicating our feelings and ideas.  There’s something very magical when “the many” take responsibility for themselves.  They create new systems from the ground up and they push forward for the good of the whole.  Better systems that take care of those that have been passed over or forgotten.  We can make sure there is enough for everyone.  We will look out for one another.  We will dare to do the right thing.

From where we are now, we can look back at the old ways in which we did things and look forward to see that change is coming, organically, from inside each and every one of us.

Keeping ourselves out of fearfulness as much as possible to complete this journey as smoothly as possible is key.  If we can be that rock for someone else who is in the mud of fearfulness, we must be that rock.  Please, check on your neighbors, the elderly, young families who are struggling, and the disabled.  Reach out and give what you can to help them get through the next couple months or so, if needed.  Plant a community garden or put out a “Give and Take” box so that neighbors can share any extra food or supplies.  We will need to be there for eachother as we get through this time together… this time between two worlds.

Are We Ready For Peace

One thing I enjoyed before COV hit, was participating in a group, watching a TV series and having online discussion with people all over the world.  To me, it was special because we connected over so many common impressions, and then shared how we saw things differently because of our cultural differences.  Our uniqueness added depth and color to the conversation.  We valued them.  If the episode played earlier in the week in another country, the group waited until we Americans caught up because they said that was when the discussion really got good.  That is who “we the people” of the world really are.  Now, I know there are numerous examples of the opposite, but, what I’m pointing out is what I experienced as a subtle indicator of our global basic nature, without the influences that pit us against eachother.

I remember last year when we went into lockdown to flatten the curve.  We were doing it together as a world, working in solidarity, supporting eachother to get through it.  There were a few incidents here and there, but when the George Floyd unrest occurred, I remember seeing a post from someone in another country disappointed that we broke our unification saying, “Come on, America, we can do this!”  We were all shocked at the suddenness in Minneapolis.  I saw video clip of a bewildered woman, describing how the local Minneapolis residents, blacks and whites together, were hugging and helping one another through their shock and grief.  Then she described how unknown people came from outside their city and caused a lot of damage.  I also remember seeing a video of an older gentleman telling a young man not to participate in the unrest, to look at what was really going on, and to ask himself if that is who he wanted to become.

What shines forth is who we are as “we the human race.”  At our true core, we are peaceful, loving, caring for our families and about our communities.  We do not want damage or unrest or war.  I know in my lifetime there has always been some sort of war going on.  I may not have always understood why, but I always thought there must be a better way than war.  After 911, I, like many others felt action needed to be taken to deter another attack.  So at the time, I did feel better knowing that we were disabling “the enemy.” Now we know there may have been a different story going on below the surface.  I now have to ask myself a tough question… what mechanisms led me to believe the surface story, the one that put me in so much fear that I would go along with the first action our government took.

From where my consciousness is now, I look back and shake my head.  My understanding of worldly things has completely evolved.  My viewpoint has widened from the knowledge I accumulated from education, news sources, conversations, literature, movies, TV, music, life experience, even our family church.  My views have even evolved from things that I wrote years ago in this blog.  Kind of amazing, really.  I knew that we, as a collective, would go through changes.  I even knew that those changes would emerge in surprising ways.  I knew that darkness and density had to be released, as individuals, as a collective, as well as from inside Mother Earth.  But, I was not prepared for my perception of reality to be completely upended.

I knew what we were going through on an esoteric level.  I had a vision of making it to a bridge, which is an actual term used to describe this transition phase.  But then in my vision, from the middle of the bridge I grabbed a rope and purposefully jumped off and back down to where I started.  I then witnessed what was happening in our nuts-and-bolts waking reality and new perception unlocked for me like an intricate puzzle opening a door.  I followed my nose and observed and assessed and studied.  I had to go inside myself and forgive what I didn’t know, what I misjudged, and what I didn’t want to look at.  I had to go inside and connect with God Source and use my own discernment as I waded through huge amounts of truths coming to the surface.  This process brought me to a clearer knowing of myself, a deeper connection with God, and a stronger inner peace.

It’s been almost a year since COV hit.  Connecting with people in other countries today, I find they have just had enough.  We’ve been in various stages of lockdown, we’re confused about what information to trust.  We’ve lost homes and businesses, friends and family members.  Some of us want it all to go away and go back to the way things were so we can get on with life and some of us want to rip off the bandaid and get it all over with.  But like it or not, change is here. The old system will just not do anymore.  We are evolving and shifting.  It was subtle at first but now it’s become blatantly obvious.  Many systems have to change to accommodate “we as the new humanity.”  As we are seeing all over the world, the common people are beginning to stand in their strength.  As a result, governments are changing.  Old regimes are stepping down and new ideas in ways to conduct ourselves are emerging.  The world is changing.

We that fondly remember the “make love not war” sentiment of the hippie generation still believe there are better ways than bombing and killing.  After being so proud last year that we finally had solid peace in the Middle East, hearing that we may now be getting back into war hurts my heart.  My flower-child self sheds a tear over the potential loss of our precious progress toward world peace.

As I’ve said before in this blog, there are many truths.  Each person has their own truth based on their own individual beliefs, and God grants each of us the free will to have them.  Can I expect another person, with totally different life experiences, values, backgrounds, thoughts and beliefs to adopt mine?  No, I cannot.  But if we could have a calm conversation, a discussion without getting defensive, we might learn that we have more in common than we believed.  We might even gain more from different viewpoints in renewed appreciation for eachother.  Can we as a community, a state, a country, a world… find a common value in something such as peace?  Can we reach out to one another across the world as brothers and sisters and stand again in solidarity to tell our governments that it is the will of the people of this Earth that we do not wish to continue funding endless wars on this planet and we want new ways to insure prosperity and true world peace for all.
