Week 68 of the Trump 2.0 Administration

This week in America, Week 68 was all about celebrating Moms who are Angels in our lives, small business, public service, the National Day of Prayer. We saw historic highs in the stock market and S&P and fantastic job numbers for April. The war on fraud in America continues with things looking pretty serious, and tensions in the Middle East inched toward Peace. Proclamations for Military Spouse Day, Victory Day for WWII, National Physical Fitness and Sports Month were made. The FEMA Review Council released its report for major reform. Recommendations were made in an effort to cut bureaucracy and improve efficiency.

SECWar Hegseth and Chairman Caine held a press conference explaining to the press that Iran does not own the Hormuz Strait. SecWar: “What we’re demonstrating with Project Freedom is they don’t control the Strait. We know Iran is embarrassed by the fact that our blockade is holding, and we can run ships through — and we’re going to help the world run ships through.” In a separate press conference, Secretary of State Rubio explained to the press that Iran’s holding up and charging commercial ships to pass through International Waterways is illegal. “All of that is illegal. The U.S. is running a defensive measure. Cannot allow them to normalize blowing up commercial ships” he told them.

President Trump held a Bilateral Meeting with Brazil’s President Lula da Silva. They were set to hold the usual meeting in front of Press, but President Da Silva dismissed the Press and the meeting took place without them. President Trump later said that the meeting went well, discussing key issues, with more meetings as necessary.

UAP/UFO Files were made available to the public, with more coming. Representative Tim Burchett said that this is just the tip of the iceberg and that much more to be disclosed to the public containing disconcerting truths. HHS held Part 2 of a two-part Summit on Mental Health and Overmedicalization. Important and greatly needed new guidelines emphasizing non-drug options, risks and deprescribing with tapering were discussed.

Iran shut down the Straits and then charged ships to be allowed to go through. They also blew up commercial ships with mines. But their own ships passed through. All of that is illegal. The U.S. is running a defensive measure. Cannot allow them to normalize blowing up commercial ships.
Iran is a vicious regime. They are killing their own people for peacefully protesting their quality of life. The Iranian people are suffering daily under this Regime.
The problem between Israel and Lebanon is Hezbollah, which is inside Lebanon. Hezbollah are an agent for Iran’s desire to destabilize the region.

Iran was trying to make a conventional shield to hide behind and threaten the world and hold the world hostage. They were trying to build the shield to hide their nuclear weapons behind.
Operation Epic Fury is over. It is concluded. The President informed Congress of that fact. Now it is Project Freedom.
International shipping lanes are supposed to remain free and open and safe. If we allow Iran to bomb and mine commercial vessels in global shipping lanes, there are other countries that will try to do it in other areas around the world. We cannot allow it to become a normalized precedent and we are the only ones who can stop it.
The War Powers Act is unconstitutional. We comply with it. Even as a Senator, he said the War Powers Act is Unconstitutional, and that has been the opinion of every president since it was enacted.

Operation Epic Fury officially ended. “PROJECT FREEDOM” has been enacted to escort with force all innocent commercial ships through the Strait of Hormuz, while negotiations continue with Iran.

FEMA Report

In order to meet the mandate established by the President, for over a year the Council was deliberate in its actions, devoting significant time to engage across jurisdictional levels and with various entities to hear about their experiences with FEMA during and after disasters. The Council solicited input from a broad range of stakeholders, including Americans affected by natural and man-made disasters; the research community; private sector; state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) governments; foundations; faith-based and nonprofit organizations. In total, the Council received and reviewed (1) 11,708 public submissions, (2) a nationwide survey of SLTT agencies and non-government partners yielding 1,387 responses, (3) direct engagement with 50 states and territories, (4) listening sessions in 13 cities across the nation, and (5) four listening sessions with tribal nations.
The feedback received underscores widespread support for FEMA reform aimed at addressing inefficiencies, reducing bureaucratic barriers, and enhancing support for disaster survivors and local governments.
