Week 50 America’s New Year in the Trump 2.0 Administration

The two most incredible things that took place this amazing 50th week of the Trump 2.0 Presidency and beginning of 2026, was the truth of the Somali Fraud Scams coming out and the arrest of Venezuela’s Dictator Nicolas Maduro and his wife. This truly is a journey of darkness into Light.

Somali Fraud Scams

The shocking fraud of Somali Immigrants came to Light and just grew and grew until it expanded into a multi-billion dollar, highly planned and coordinated system to defraud the American people of Billions–and that number just keeps on growing. In fact, some are saying that much of it has contributed to the National Debt.

The Somali Fraud stretches across Daycare and Childcare and Assisted Living businesses receiving millions each, but in truth are merely storefronts. The Trump administration has taken actions to freeze or withhold federal funding to Minnesota. The Small Business Administration says that they are halting all SBA loans and payments for businesses in Minnesota until each business clears itself with proof that it is legit. Multiple investigations are happening. Go to https://childcare.gov/ and click on “REPORT A CHILD CARE CONCERN” to report a childcare concern or suspicion of fraud. House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer says that arrests are coming for the massive Minnesota Fraud Scandal.

But it turns out that Minnesota is not the only state that has Somali fraud. It is Ohio, Maine, Washington State and Massachusetts (so far), and President Trump says that the fraud in California is worse. NGOS are being exposed for use in laundering money. Many of these business use the same auditor for inspections across multiple states. And… most of these businesses make campaign contributions to Democrat political leaders, into the Millions, with the AG of Minnesota was caught on tape accepting and being complicit. The Somali Fraud goes into Voter and Election Fraud with voter rolls being subpoenaed by the DoJ. The Trump Administration says that citizenship of anyone caught convicted of fraud will be revoked. Even the UN Ambassador has been flagged for Medicaid fraud for a healthcare company he owns in Ohio. HHS has notified Governor Tim Walz that Minnesota’s funding is cut “until they are confident there is no fraud.”

The fraud being discovered is staggering, but do not become discouraged or defeated. The best legal and investigative minds are on this, with the full support of law enforcement and the military. We will clean this up and we will be stronger and wiser for it.

Maduro Captured

Nicolas Maduro and his wife were captured by U.S. Special Forces early this morning. They will be arraigned next week. Many are asking how President Trump has the ability to do this without consulting Congress. In his press conference today, Secretary of State Marco Rubio gave a thorough answer. He said “We called Members of Congress immediately following. This was not the type of mission that we could do Congressional notification on. It was a trigger-based mission in which conditions had to be met night after night, we watched and monitored that for a number of days, so it’s not the kind of mission where you can call people and say ‘Hey, we may do this at some point in the next 15 days’… Remember at the end of the day, this was a law enforcement arrest of 2 fugitives of American Justice, and the Department of War supported the Department of Justice in that job… This is not the kind of mission that you can pre-notify because it endangers the mission.” Then President Trump added: “Congress has a tendency to leak. This would not be good. If they leaked General (looking at General Razin Caine), then I think it would be a very different result. But, I have to say, they sort-of knew we were coming, there are a lot of ships out there.”

What Gives President Trump the Ability to Strike

Some history from the last year, the criminal gangs and cartels of Venezuela (MS-13) were officially designated an FTO Foreign Terrorist Organization on February 20, 2025. The Executive Order signed by President Donald Trump on January 20, 2025, initiated it along with certain drug cartels and other groups like Tren de Aragua (TdA) as FTOs and Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGTs). The formal designation was announced by the State Department and published in the Federal Register around that time, with the designations taking effect upon publication.

The April 2025 SCOTUS order remains the key ruling that initially allowed the Alien Enemies Act to be used against the terrorist-designated gangs MS-13 and Tren de Aragua (using the Alien Enemies Act for expedited deportations) was the April 7, 2025, decision in Trump v. J.G.G..

Maduro was the Head of the Cartel de los Soles. The Cartel de los Soles was designated as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (July 2025) and a Foreign Terrorist Organization effective November 24, 2025. The law enforces Maduro’s arrest because there is historical precedent to permit the military support to law enforcement counter narcotics operations (Department of War supporting the Department of Justice.) Venezuela has been poisoning our citizens for over 25 years. Statute 10 U.S.C. § 284 (Title 10, United States Code, Section 284) is a federal statute titled “Support for counterdrug activities and activities to counter transnational organized crime.” It authorizes the Secretary of Defense (War) to provide support for counterdrug operations or efforts to counter transnational organized crime (defined as self-perpetuating transnational groups obtaining power or gains illegally, often through corruption or violence, such as drug cartels), which Maduro’s regime was.

At first, Maduro was defiant to President Trump’s requests, but then he publicly announced his willingness to negotiate with the United States in a pre-taped New Year’s interview with Spanish journalist Ignacio Ramonet, which aired on January 2, 2026. Maduro and his wife were captured the next day, the morning of January 3rd. They are being INDICTED by the U.S. in the Southern District of New York for Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy, Cocaine Importation Conspiracy, Possession of Machineguns and Destructive Devices, and Conspiracy to Possess Machineguns and Destructive Devices against the United States.

Action Over UN Guidelines

President Trump says he will not allow other countries to prey upon Americans with impunity. President Trump’s justification for the arrest (or capture) of Nicolás Maduro is on U.S. domestic legal authority and national security imperatives, while relying on a controversial interpretation that allows overriding aspects of international law, including UN Charter guidelines prohibiting the use of force against sovereign states.

The precedent that allowed President Trump to legally act on this over UN guidelines, primarily Article 2(4) of the UN Charter, which prohibits the threat or use of force against another state’s territorial integrity, stems from a 1989 Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) memorandum authored by then-Assistant Attorney General William Barr. This memo argues: The UN Charter’s Article 2(4) is “non-self-executing,” meaning it does not create binding domestic law enforceable on the U.S. Executive Branch without implementing legislation. Thus, while the action may violate international law, it does not contravene U.S. law, allowing the president to “faithfully execute” domestic laws (e.g., indictments) even if it conflicts with the Charter. (see the Statute 10 U.S.C. § 284 above)

At today’s Press Conference at Mar-A-Lago, President Trump detailed the ways Nicolás Maduro sent brutal gangs into the U.S. to terrorize Americans. Maduro was a dictator. They had an election last year and he lost, but he would not leave. He was a horrible dictator and sent his worst criminals and criminally insane into the U.S. to terrorize Americans. He sent them here to commit crimes. President Trump is a President of Peace and he is here to protect America. For the world: If President Trump says he’s serious about something, he means it. If he says he’s going to fix a problem in the world, it’s going to happen. Maduro could have left with his money and lived happily somewhere else, but he wanted to play games with the U.S. and he will be held accountable.

New people are being designated to run Venezuela to clean it up and bring it back, for the Venezuelan people. They are not going to take a chance that other bad people will take over. U.S. oil companies will go into Venezuela, spend billions of dollars, fix the badly broken oil infrastructure, and start making money for the country. The U.S. will be paid back and the rest of the money will stay in Venezuela for the people there. President Trump says they will become a very wealthy country, prosper and rebuild their infrastructure. He says that there are some bad people to be cleaned out though. Venezuelans who are in the U.S. will want to return home. There will be less drugs, cheaper oil, gas and diesel. President Trump said that was only the first part of the mission. They will deploy U.S. troops on the ground if needed. It is time to Make Venezuela Great Again.
