Border Security: Trump aims to end policies like catch-and-release, reinstate the Remain in Mexico policy, complete the border wall, and end asylum for those who cross the border illegally. It includes deportation operations targeting criminal aliens, and the suspension of refugee resettlement to alleviate strain on community resources.
Military and Law Enforcement: The Armed Forces, including the National Guard, are to be involved in border security operations, reinforcing that border security is equivalent to national security.
Designation of Cartels: There’s an initiative to designate cartels like Tren de Aragua as foreign terrorist organizations, which would allow for their removal under the Alien Enemies Act.
Justice and Punishment: The Department of Justice is directed to seek the death penalty for severe crimes, particularly those involving law enforcement or by illegal migrants against Americans.
