Father,

We turn our faces to You, in elation and gratitude of lasting Peace. We ask for the blessing of honor and healing for those who fought bravely and those affected by war and destruction. We rejoice at the work of your negotiators and peacemakers. Thank you Father for ushering in Peace. “Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you. (Hosea 10:12)

So much in which to look forward Father, thank you. As we continue to plant the good seeds of righteousness, we nurture them with loving care, because we know that the kindness of our hand builds a lasting robust crop of Love. The remnants of war are a sober reminder that in order for Humanity to rise above it’s warring past, we must plow up the hard ground of our hearts and seek Your Face, Your tender hands, Your loving mercies, Your enduring grace. Come and shower righteousness upon us now.
