Much speculation has been occurring about the potential hacking of Israel’s servers. It is being reported on X that the contents of Israel’s exclusive Unit 8200 surveillance agency was downloaded and then erased. Iranian hacking group calling themselves Handala claimed responsibility but that is not confirmed.

Israeli intelligence operators linked to Unit 8200 have reportedly influenced US politics and media for years and hold controlling positions of influence both parties of US politics.
Unconfirmed report that the Iranian Handala hacking group published details of their fresh new cyber attack, and wiped all 40TB of its data, including the backup files of the servers. If true, it means only Handala is now in possession of their data.

A disputed claim was that Israel announced the death of the Commander of Unit 8200, Yossi Sariel, which is part of Israeli Mossad and considered the world’s most powerful agency for surveillance. Reports that he was killed in a Hezbollah attack along with other officers. Apparently there was a breach last spring and it was announced that Unit 8200’s spy chief let his identity slip online.
