Father,

Beyond the chaotic churning, beyond the concerns and the worries, beyond the addictions and distractions, there is our relationship with You. When we allow all that “other” to fall away and we get quiet and peaceful, and we connect with You inside, everything makes sense. “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.” (Psalm 4:8)

Help us Father to find that peace inside, free of all unneeded thoughts, fear and worries. Help us go inside our temple to reaffirm that holy connection with You. For the time that we spend with You in our temple inside, let us be free of obsessive thinking and open ourselves to You, “You will lie down without fear, and many will court your favor.” (Job 11:19)

Your Light Father, shines on us there and brings the engine of our body’s life force up and humming. We carry that light and shine it outward wherever we go. We carry You into all we do and You become the conduit in the space between us for the light inside each of us. Come into our words that travel through the air from lips to ear. Come into all of our communications. Thank you Father, for making the world into place that honors this kind of life and connections of soul to soul. “And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.” (Leviticus 26:5)
