Father,

We come to you today in the spirit of Love. You have given us a great gift. The gift of this life To learn all about Love. We have families to learn all the intricacies of loving and caring. We have friends and communities that teach us all how different expressions of Love ripple outward and make an impact on others. Life has a way of teaching us so much, not only from observation and direct participation, but also in experiencing the opposites of Love. We see the many ways fear is expressed in our world and it’s taught us the importance of always being the love that we are and the importance of Love in our world.

Your son Jesus is the Master of Love. He is the beginning and the end. He is the teacher of all teachers, and showed us how to actively be Love in this world and to stand for Love, no matter what. “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:17)

Help us, Father, be active love in our world. Help us stand for the innocent and the vulnerable who are being oppressed and mistreated. Help us stand for doing what is right as love would do. Fill us, Father, with a Love that is sustaining and everlasting. Fill us with Your Light. Help us carry that Love to the world in all we do. Help us be that Love in every moment of our day. May we rise to Be a Greater Love in this world because of everything you have helped us to learn about it.
