Father,

We invite you into our hearts and our lives today. We invite you into our world. We ask that you take hold of the minds of warmongering leaders and show them the wrong in dropping bombs, leveling cities and killing innocent people. Father, we ask that you intervene in hearts and minds of all those who would bring about senseless killing and make them see The Light. “For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” (Romans 10:10)

We call for Peace in our world, Father. We call for an end of harm and destruction and endless disputes between neighbors. We call for an intervention from you for ceasefire everywhere. We call for an end to the waste of the precious resources that could be used to help the growing number of people who are hungry, destitute and homeless.

We call for the rise of the Peacemakers in our world, Father. May they step up and take a stand. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” (Matthew 5:9)

May the Peacemakers rise up and be blessed by Your Light and their voices carried on the wings of Angels to reach the hearts of every human on the planet.
