Standing with confidence before you, Father. We stand in peace and calm because we refuse to become victim to fear, anger, hatred and violence that is swirling in the world right now. We stand with confidence because we open a constant intimate communication channel with you so that we are in 24/7 conversation with you. In being so intimately connected, we live more confidently in the midst of hostility and violence. “Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.” (Lamentations 3:22)

They say “a little faith goes a long way” Father. We know the love you have for us is complete and eternal and in your eyes we cannot ever fail you, you love us with all our hiccups and foibles. You see them as beautiful, which allows us to bloom with a renewed passion for life. In that snapshot of perfection, You embrace us and coax us out of our shells to live in the world with a purpose to create beauty in every moment possible. Because you loved us first, with a perfect everlasting love. “And yet He was compassionate; He forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them. He often restrained His anger and did not unleash His full wrath.” (Psalm 78:38)

If there ever was a time for us to shine your love out into the world, it is now. Empower us Father, to broadcast your message of your love everywhere for it to transform fear into peace, hostility into understanding. To look inside ourselves and feel your love reverberating there.
