Father,

Bless this day for our use and us to thy service. Help us to better serve You by serving eachother. Help us to be more compassionate, more understanding, more caring, in order to help one another rise up and take our stand shining light out into darkness. Help us connect with eachother in meaningful ways. To ease our heavy burdens by reminding ourselves what humanity is really made of, and the truth that we each carry the Divine spark inside, which is You. “Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (1Corinthians 3:16)

Through thick and thin, through trials and tribulations, we will guard the treasure inside us, which is the part of us, our Soul, that is part of You. “Guard, through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you.” (2Timothy 1:14) So when we make a promise to pray for someone we are actually connecting you with them in a very personal way. We are sending them our thoughts and feelings based in our connection with you, and thus enhancing their connection with you. You are the common thread that ties all humanity together, the spark of life that runs through all human beings.

Bless us today and every day. May we be lifted in every moment and all we do. May we stay firmly grounded in the light and may we keep shining the light into the night, dispelling all darkness and fear. With You dwelling inside us as the torch of life that we bear. “Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.” (Psalm105:1)
