Bless this day Father, we know you have many plans in store. We are grateful to be here and we are open to your guidance this day. We know that when things look bleak, we can always come to you for peace and solace. When chaos and turmoil lap at our feet, we stick close to you, Father. For we know the gnashing of teeth is only temporary, that you dwell in calm waters, and that we can always find with You, peace and beauty. “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.” (Proverbs 19:21) We step carefully forward this day, with love in our hearts, mindful of how we tread. May we always know the peace of walking our path close to You.
