But I will sing of your strength,
in the morning I will sing of your love;
for you are my fortress,

Father,

As we begin the day, we draw closer to you. When we look around us we realize that there is room in your compassionate heart for all of us. You turn no one away who comes to you. You give us the strength to go on when we feel we cannot continue another step. Somehow we muster the strength and that is all due to you. We know that when we ask, you will deliver.

Father we commend ourselves into your hands, whatever plans you have for us, we are ready. Let only Your Will be done in us, as well as all your creatures. We are moving forward as one human family of brothers and sisters becoming better human beings. We surrender ourselves into your hands without hesitancy and with complete confidence. “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

Your Light dissolves all weakness in us. With you, we find the resolve in all circumstances. Give us the strength to rise above all beliefs that we do not have what it takes to become who you created us to be. Help us master the abilities needed to be an effective force in all we do. When we open to the possibility, we find out that we always had it all along. We just didn’t believe in ourselves. “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)

Bless us Father, as your Children of Light. Bless our loved ones and our world as we rise out of the darkness.
