Prayer of the Hardest Healing

We are blessed by a new day, Father. Thank you for another opportunity to walk the path of your wonderful gift of life. Father at this time, we are coming to terms. In the solitude of the heart, we are hearing the world’s pains. We are facing our own guilt over letting things get so bad. We are determining ourselves to bring our problems out in the open. We ask for forgiveness. As a humanity, we let our most precious gifts go in order to manage all the distractions coming at us at the time. Now as we see what has happened to the children in our care, we are waking up to drastically shift our priorities. We come to you on our knees Father. We, as one people, come to you willing to accept responsibility and make necessary corrections because “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.” (Psalm 127:3)

Bless us all, Father. Raise us up. Take our pain. Help us see all we need to see. Show us the way to cleaning out this horrible festering wound, in order to start the process of healing. Speed our healing Father. Help us get to that place as a people, together, so that we can begin to rebuild new, brighter and better. “All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.” (Isaiah 54:13)

We humbly ask for your assistance as we face this problem, deal with it, and recover. Bless us, open our hearts and clear out all the pain. Give us the courage and the bravery to see what we need to see, and feel what we need to feel. Help us come together in peaceful determination to solve this problem together, for the sake of those most precious to us. Cleanse our world, Father, so that we may emerge from the darkness and finally and completely into your loving Light.

In Jesus’ name,

Let it be so,

God is Victory,

Amen.
