Father,

We thank you for blessing us with another day with which to experience the wonders of your creation. Father, today feels like a lifting. With surprising joy, we are being lifted up by your hand. Thank you Father for coming into our world and intervening. You are in everything, and we can discover You in so many things, even in the smallest flower, a color, and the wind… all we need to do is be fully present. When we are fully present and mindful, the moment opens up into a whole world of your beauty and wonder. In that, we will find the keys to new wisdom. “All this also comes from the Lord Almighty, whose plan is wonderful, whose wisdom is magnificent.” (Isaiah 28:29)

Thank you Father for the delicate beauty of a flower which you designed in intricate detail. Thank you for the complexity of a bird’s wing. Although we may be focused on the world’s problems in the heat of the storm right now, we are reminded not to lose sight of the grandeur of this world in which your living spirit dwells. When we remember to focus on the elegant design of our natural world, then we suddenly see you in every amazing wondrous natural thing as the miracle that it is.

“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.” (Ephesians 1:17) May we all be lifted up and blessed today. May our eyes see new truths and solutions. May our hands work swiftly and may our legs feel light and never tire, today and every day.
