Father,

We thank you for this day and we thank you for the changes in our lives because they bring us opportunities to stretch and grow. They allow us to move past the limitations we thought were there and step into new territory that was made especially for us. When we grow in this way, Father, we know it is guided by your hand. We know that you are at the steering wheel when we put our hand in yours. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

When we leave behind the old and step forward, by trusting you, Father, you light up our straight path forward. While we embrace the highest and best for our world and for our own lives. Keeping our light on and love in our hearts. Having compassion for those around us. Being forgiving of others and especially of ourselves. Allowing our best life to come to us and stepping forward and stretching into it.

Bless us this day, Father. May we always walk our path with care. May we always be protected by your light and held in your loving arms, comforted by your love. May we impart that to others in need, and may their own light inside them, expand.
