Activist’s Prayer

Father,

It has been difficult to see the level of darkness in this world with opened eyes. We experience the grief process as we grasp what is really happening. We do not resent it though Father, because we know that this is part of the cleansing process of the world that is by your hand. We will not be ashamed of the vulnerability of our sadness, but rather are gifted by the experience of being able to come to you and drop our guard and be unapologetically ourselves because Psalm 18 tells us, “The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

This fuels our fire, Father, as we re-dedicate ourselves to our work. To let our voices ring out, to let them be heard far & wide so that truth is miraculously cognized. To shine Light that shatters those that have kept our world in darkness, until now.

Thank you for the gift of this day and the opportunity to be your light in a rising world. We ask for special blessings for those who are unjustly locked up and are suffering. Please bless all who work tirelessly for a better world, for we know they are under your special guidance. May we all be instilled with inspiration knowing blockages are being removed by you Father, may it be the hope that fuels our fire to continue to clean up the trash and make increasing progress toward a better world.

Let it be so,

God is Victory.

Amen.
