Father,

You have given us this day to use as we choose, because we realize that it is our choices that steer our lives, as our lives are in your hands. As we open our hearts to the possibilities in this day, we realize that we are all your children, and that there really is no separation between us. As we are bathed in more and more of your light, we realize that all people are members of your house and that your house has no walls or doors.

We are told in Romans that “neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God” because you dwell inside each of us. The more fully we enter your house of love, the more we can see that all humanity is there too.

Father we are grateful for the opportunity to work together to be bearers of your light in this world “for the law of the Spirit of life has set you free from the law of sin and death.” Let us never forget how to send your light outward to touch the hearts of others so they can shine your light as well.
