Compassion

Reaching out, we cannot bear,

Pain and confusion plaguing there.

Understanding for what it cost,

Almost every hope is lost.

A doorway opens, light pours in,

Lighting the darkness which has been.

To see and soothe, comfort with song,

Lifting up… fragile to strong.

~

What we see in another’s Soul,

God blesses us and makes us whole.

The sun comes out, a bird sings,

The tender joy that healing brings.
