We left Enchanted Trails RV Park west of Albuquerque and it’s quaint surroundings and headed eastward and Texas bound.
We said goodbye to the Three Sisters, a trio of extinct volcanic craters…
… and Albuquerque and it’s mountains.
Apparently in New Mexico, the rocks are so friendly, they just jump into the back of your truck!
And we entered eastern New Mexico which soon became flat plains.
Which was pretty much the same as we reached Texas, but with the random addition of windmills, oil rigs and ranches.
We’re spending a week in Amarillo, which is in the middle of the Texas pan handle.
