Remember this rock from the views from Glacier Point? It’s called Half-Dome (because it looks like a dome cut in half).
Here is the back of it from Tioga Road which runs along the peaks at the other side. The Tioga Road is one of the few roads that crosses the Sierra Nevada and the only road that runs east-west through the park.
