What a great place the Oregon Coast is!  Here is what it looked like crossing the Columbia River leaving Washington State behind.

There is a mix of farmland and beach.

The coast looks similar to shore in Washington State, but much more developed with beach houses lining the hills overlooking the sea.  Still has the same tsunami warnings and evacuation route signs.  

Timber and logging industry is thriving too.

The fishing industry is very strong.

With some awesome sea critters.

It’s foggy now, which collects on the moss covered trees and rains down on the abundant vegetation.  Another similarity to the rainforest in Washington State.
