We’ve begun our journey home, we are camped here at Prairie Band Casino in Mayetta, Kansas. Wind was a big factor on today’s drive and is now blowing steadily. It’s warmer, so the wind is cooling us down. I just saw on the news and continuous TV show break-ins that we are under a tornado watch and that there have been confirmed touchdowns in counties southwest of us. The cool air from the Rockies that we just experienced is moving down and mixing with the warm air from the Gulf. We did see some crazy clouds on our drive from Castle Rock today. They must’ve seen us coming. So comforting to hear that the last place you want to be is in a mobile home.

Bill is resting up so that he can sneak over to hit the poker tables late tonight/early morning (it’s all the same to him). We played the slots and ate at the buffet and have a little more money than we started with. I got to play my favorite Big Bass Fishin’ Hole slot machine… Yeah!!! Angie saw the green grass here and immediately rolled in it with delight!

We’ll be here for two nights and will continue on to Indianapolis on Saturday… and should be home on Sunday!!!
