Most Precious Wish

A heart’s desire for new creation,
Received with interest in complete elation.

God has heard sincerest prayers,
To keep us climbing up the stairs.

Ebb and flow of light and dark,
Has now abated, now gone stark.

A final warning to heed the call,
We saw it rise and now it falls.

A thousand wishes into the mist,
Opened the door to what we’ve missed.

Hearts are open, the dark now folds.
It all lines up, new replaces old.

Return to love, Blessed by the Lord,
Most precious wish: sweetest reward.

Garden of God (a poem)

All happiness and joy when flame draws near,

Gone is the baggage, gone is fear.

~

Cleaned out dross, a cleanly cup,

Elixir of joy to drink up.

~

Growing daily beautiful and strong,

Room for dreams now, the future won’t be long.

~

Sweet song plays and gets even hotter,

Deeply rooted in abundant water.

~

A shower of respect, admiration and Love,

Nourishing the tree that is home to the Dove.

“Because I made this tree so beautiful,
and gave it such magnificent foliage,
it was the envy of all the other trees of Eden,
the garden of God.”

Lightening, we are the brightening

Hearing the whisper of a new voice of reason

It’s a miracle how it all happens

An explosion of expression

Speaking out in even more creative ways

We claim our ethical powers

To ebb and flow with the Universe

To flow in the music of Life

To put heart into our concepts

To take our place more prominently

This time of reckoning, this time of seeing all.

In the stillness I see your face and feel your Soul

Love glows eternal.

Cast aglow without burning,

Cannot quench my Soul’s deep yearning.

~

A unique Soul-song, enhanced,

First was sung, then was danced.

~

The beauty of Life’s challenges persistent,

Rings prominently even distant.

~

Of the Angel, of the Man,

Things shifted, then righted again.

~

BE IT first, then verity,

Every day more clarity.

~

A Love that burns everything else away,

A feeling of joy that is here to stay.

~

To love ourselves enough to believe,

I already AM, creatively.

Winsome walk on woodland trail,

Entering realm beyond the pale.

~

Birdsong echo under tree canopy,

Babbling brook rhythm beat capably.

~

Courageous heart and adventurous hand,

Promise of Peace throughout the land.

~

Oh valiant steed, your rider’s won,

Poetry and power, horse and rider are one.

~

Make short work of an endless task,

To drink our elixir from a bottomless flask.

~

Fed by Love and Faith and Hope,

Our story renews and repairs its scope.

~

Because we fought and loved and prayed,

We’re a blessed library of every book ever made.

Solder of Time

The solder of time, through the veil,

A love that endures, without fail.

~

A candle flickers, God’s Light sublime,

Sacred Space & timeless time.

~

Windswept treeline crosses field,

Open space refuses yield.

~

Conquering adversity, advances forward,

Seeming velocity un-toward.

~

The bending, swaying of the willow,

Graceful, flowing, under billow.

~

A shimmering vesige, the event-keeper’s tale,

All becomes righted, God’s law Prevails.

~

Grand old Tree, what do you see?

Moving forward, as it should be.

~

Soaring seagull, sun glint glare,

We climb, we rise, with every stair.

~

Virtuous soldiers, a cross on their breast,

Darkness recedes. Victorious quest.

~

Praise the Lord in Heaven above,

And all the Angels shower us with Love.

If there was a piece of you that completed you.

If you could feel it somewhere out there.

The pairing of a blanket and a pillow. Belonging.

A shining star, my salvation, my friend.

All the elements obey your command.

No more separation, we’ve all won.

O shining star, we are one.

Hearts joining, filling, climbing, whirling.

Dancing, singing, spinning, winning.

If God looked on his pair, he would smile.

and the moon and the stars were the gifts he gave.

I dream of days with delicious ways.

I dream of happy times with words that rhyme.

Clear blue skies as the Eagle flies.

Hopeful ways, laughter that stays.

You. It’s always been you.

Gratitude shines, appreciation is mine.

You look at me and smile, reflected back all the while.

Joy in living is so great, fueling the beauty we create.

It’s up to you and me, to make it as amazing as it can be.

Where strength meets kindness, it leads to you,

Through mystery a sacred friendship grew.

Your patience and careful consideration,

Ring vibrant truth throughout the nation.

~

Feared by many but loved by all,

Incredible knowledge by faith install.

~

Playful courage, a special best,

No one compares, you’re beyond the rest.

~

Nurturing, nourishing, caring, just,

Hearts will open, because they must.

~

You’re the gentle breeze that kisses the face,

The gale that threatens to blow into space.

~

When I was at my worst, you showed me the way,

Blanketed me with warmth and asked me to stay.

~

My whole heart gratitude to our Father above,

That he gave us you, the you that we love.
