Heart Healing

We’ve all felt the sting of rejection in some form during the course of our lives. Painful experiences such as betrayal. I think I’ve been through every form of healing afterward, including partial healing. When the healing process has been cut off in some way by an interference of some sort, life may steer us back to these orphaned healings to complete the healing to attain closure. Life may bring us around from a different angle so we can see the lesson clearly. Sometimes, in order to heal from the inside out, we just don’t see what we need to see unless we look at it from a completely different viewpoint.

Healing emotional pain from betrayal and rejection can be the most difficult kind of emotional healing there is, since our hearts are usually what we protect most. We depend on that protection to keep us safe from further damage that, depending on the status of the unhealed wounds we still carry, dictates how efficiently we can operate and how effective we can be in the world. If for some reason we cannot heal it, then we can draw from it, as long as we don’t let pain and bitterness overtake us. It is never too late to heal heart-pain and God, our Angels and the Universe are always conspiring to bring us to a point where healing can occur.

In his book You Are The Beloved, Henri Nouwen writes: “Don’t be afraid to love and to love deeply. You might be afraid of the pain that deep love can cause. When those you love deeply reject you, leave you, or die, your heart will be broken. But that should not hold you back from loving deeply. The pain that comes from deep love makes your love even more fruitful. It is like a plow that breaks the ground to allow the seed to take root and grow into a strong plant. Every time you experience the pain of rejection absence, or death, you are faced with a choice. You can become bitter and decide not to love again, or you can stand straight in your pain and let the soil on which you stand become richer and more able to give life to new seeds.”

The possibilities ahead are worth healing our heart pain. The HeartMath Institute talks about attaining heart coherence. Heart coherence on is a harmonious state where our hearts, minds and bodies are united in cooperation and flow.  We benefit on a personal level by having an open, healed heart, and in groups. Group coherence describes harmonious relationships within families, teams, groups or organizations. Groups with heart coherence demonstrate a flow of information in a caring manner that boosts collaboration and unity. Groups that operate in heart coherence are aligned in heart, mind, emotional and physical systems. This results in less mental and emotional pressure, better choices and improved resilience.  As individuals practice heart coherence, it can uplift inter-personal dealings affecting inter-workings on a global scale.

My flesh and my heart may fail,
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

-Psalm 73:26

The Help Hub

I imagine that we’re so very busy in the astral whilst we’re sleeping. Now is such a dynamic time, I see Souls staffing something called a “Help Hub” where someone can go to be directed to their new work. Don’t think this couldn’t actually be happening during our sleep while we dream. It follows the theme that people are getting organized to start new phases of their lives. We each have a calling and we are about to step into it, if we haven’t already.

A second form of helping is a reciprocal exchange. Someone pops into our lives to give us a hand and directs us to look inward and locate our home, that infinite, unwavering depth of oneness and Light that is at our core. We accept the help with gratitude and offer something in return to show our appreciation. This exchange, blessed by God.

Sometimes in the search for God everywhere out in the world, desperate for a real connection, it sometimes leaves us feeling deserted. God has not deserted us, the connection we are yearning for is not outside us, it is inside. It is when we look inside that we discover that God is in the home that resides within each of us.

“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” –Hebrews 6:10

Our way home to the truest part of our infinite selves, is to know ourselves beyond the socialized matrix of the mind-constructed reality. When we find it, we want to rejoice that we found home again. That deep heart-based presence of our home being at our core. In that Light, we are whole and complete and perfect. We take our divine home wherever we go. When we resonate with the Love that we are, our world reshapes around us. Realizing we are worthy of receiving any and all gifts that we are blessed with now. 1/22 is an Angel day (today) so expect a wink and a smile from your Angelic family, perhaps a surprising appearance of something that reminds you how much you are loved. Be open to new gifts; your worthiness is real.

“The first characteristic of the spiritual life is the continuing movement from loneliness to solitude. Its second equally important characteristic is the movement by which our hostilities can be converted into hospitality. It is there that our changing relationship to ourself can be brought to fruition in an ever-changing relationship to our fellow human beings. It is there that our reaching out to our innermost being can lead to a reaching out to the many strangers whom we meet on our way through life… But still- that is our vocation: to convert the hostic into a hospes, the enemy into a guest and to create the free and fearless space where brotherhood and sisterhood can be formed and fully experienced.” –Henri Nouwen, from his book Reaching Out

Changes are accelerating. Mayhaps that is why there is such a need for a “Help Hub.” People sharing a common goal, a sense of family, each wielding their own individual special skillset, all in service and being directed from within according to divine guidance. In that spirit of networking to make forward progress toward common goals and solving common problems. Keeping forward momentum going, helping others as we go, help will come as needed. Where will it come from? It is all around us, we just may not see it yet…

“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. -2 Kings 6:16-17

Just as we, in service to the greater good, agree to appear to be of help to someone else… help appears for us, from all around. And that is just how it is to live in Mother Earth’s flow. The synchronicity is real. The flow carries us. In the flow and exchange of energy creating something greater than the sum of its parts.

Opening Our Hearts

Spreading Light

a poem by thinkcarebelieve

As old life falls away,

We step forward without delay.

We already know where this is going,

We’re going to where Compassion is flowing.

10,000 Angels are guiding us there,

With all the great Masters authoring prayer.

It’s a new start with a brand new year,

We’re dropping our doubts, anxiety and fear.

We’re going to Love with all our might,

Throughout the world Spreading Light.

I thought I’d open 2023 discussing opening our hearts. Heart has to do with openness. When we say, “have a heart” or that someone is hard-hearted, it means their heart is not open to receiving. Which means, the person is having difficulty experiencing another’s ideas, feelings or attitudes. Romantically, it can mean that the person has experienced so much pain in their life that their heart is so protected that they may have trouble feeling and sharing love, and they may not always realize it. Some who seem unable to love, were simply trained by family, school and society to lock it up in order to succeed in the world. It’s quite common that we put up protections, which are needed in the world, but forget that they are there..

Our hearts are our personal space of receptivity and response. It’s our innermost center. When we do something from the heart, we do it with the deepest feelings. Dealing with a warmhearted person, we know we’ll be accepted openly and treated kindly. Doing something whole-heartedly means we’re responding from our very core, giving of our whole selves.

My latest experience in my healing journey took me to my innermost being. I was shaken awake by someone I deeply care about. You know, one of those magical people that are wise beyond anything. Typically I am generous and caring, but I did not realize where I had protected the hidden depths of my heart. I was then able to see where I had built a wall and locked up my heart so that I would never be hurt again. I thought I was being smart and mature… but this is the shift. I had to see how I was making things worse when I was trying to make them better. I was being bombarded with feelings of fear, abandonment, desperation and powerlessness. I was baffled by what was happening… until I finally understood, and then I was ashamed of my defensive behavior. This experience was a precious, precious gift. When I was finally able to speak my truth, it felt so good, and was so simple to do.

I owe that person a debt of gratitude now. Truly. Who would take the flack that you were to dish out, but someone very special indeed. That’s what this magical time of healing is about. Getting to the heart of the matter and cleaning and clearing so that we resonate with the new world energies. These energies are opening up our spiritual centers and it is in that divine heartspace that we feel God the most. Where God comes in and touches our spirit, and where our spirit touches that of others.

Many are going to be going through deeper and deeper work as we further shift. If you are feeling the approach of deep inner work, my advice is to surrender to the process, be as gracious as you possibly can, there is nothing comfortable about it. Your heart is being cracked open by the Holy Spirit so that you can receive the love that God pours in. Be healed. Look forward and aim for a future where you resonate with Love. Like tuning forks, in our bright future we will resonate in a frequency of love.
