We come to you in gratitude for all the things you provide for us in our lives. All the things that we appreciate and all the things that we take for granted. We are so blessed. “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19) These good things in our lives are truly gifts, and sometimes it’s not just the big things, but the little things that endear our hearts the most. You are the Master of Unconditional Love. We embrace the kind of Soul Love that touches us deep inside, the kind of love that reminds us that we are unique and valued. By consciously focusing on the this kind of Love right now, Father, and appreciating it, we are inviting more into our lives.
Thank you for sending your son, our brother Jesus, to show us how to love life more dearly. “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18) Thank you for the people in our lives and all the good things they bring. As we step through the changes in the world right now, we set our eyes on the future you have planned for us. We can feel the many blessings you have in store for us and are eternally grateful for each and every one. As truth flows more and more abundantly, so will all the resources we need. They will flow like water.
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:17) Thank you Father for every loving thing you do for us, your children. Thank you for all the many blessings in our lives. We humbly thank you for all these many gifts, that allow us to thrive and continue on our journey and our work.
And the Lord blesses this day for our use to create our future in the highest form of Light imaginable.
Father, Thank you for this day. We truly see it as a gift, being in gratitude for everything there is about the life experience here on Earth. When we take a moment, we can truly see the creation of life as a miracle. We find your miracles every day in the perfectly synchronized ballet of nature that our beautiful Earth gives to us to appreciate like a basket filled with the finest blessings one could imagine. We rejoice in all that is good and holy in our natural world. “The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.” (Genesis)
When we leave the world of digital chaos for a moment, and step into the natural world of your creation, Father, this is where we experience your unconditional for us. We realize that we, are writing our own story simply by choosing where we put our time and focus. By choosing the best version of our reality in every moment. When we immerse ourselves in your handiwork, and really take it in, we then find our own unique song. It reminds us of a long lost remembering of home that reaffirms that we are the only author of our story and nobody is allowed to write it for us, but you. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans)
We ask for your blessings for every member of our team, may they and their families know the peace of your love. May our day be filled with unlimited opportunity. May your hand continue to guide and protect us all through our work, in humble service to you.
We are often encouraged to raise our vibration and be grateful. I do think it is very difficult at times to be able to get oneself into that headspace, particularly when one is caught up in the challenges that a normal hectic life incurs. If I may be of any assistance at all, please accept this…
Put all thoughts out of your head. Pick a few moments to breathe and appreciate the simplest thing you can find in your immediate vicinity. Look around and find a thing that makes your life better or a thing that is glad you are here. It’s affirming, in a small way. Work up to something larger from there. Make yourself a cup of Spruce Needle Tea (see below) and go somewhere pleasant and enjoy everything about that experience. Take it in.
Don’t kick yourself if you can’t quite get there, it takes practice. Try. Imagine I am sitting next to you and we are just enjoying the moment together, no speaking, just BEing. 😉
Remember you are here for a reason. Start with small things.
Spruce Needle Tea(Christmas in a Cup)
1. Snip off a bit of branch from your Spruce tree.
2. Rinse the Spruce and boil some water.
3. Put the Spruce in a mug.
4. Pour boiling water over the Spruce and fill the mug.
5. Sweeten as desired. I recommend a splash of maple syrup.
6. Sip. Smile.
7. If you are curious, here is a page of health benefits of Spruce Needle Tea. The page has great information on identifying Spruce trees (this one isn't, I don't think.)
Winter
from The Vision of Sir Launfal
by James Russell Lowell
Down swept the chill wind from the mountain peak,
From the snow five thousand summers old;
On open wold and hill-top bleak
It had gathered all the cold,
And whirled it like sleet on the wanderer's cheek;
It carried a shiver everywhere
From the unleafed boughs and pastures bare;
The little brook heard it and built a roof
'Neath which he could house him, winter-proof;
All night by the white stars' frosty gleams
He groined his arches and matched his beams;
Slender and clear were his crystal spars
As the lashes of light that trim the stars;
He sculptured every summer delight
In his halls and chambers out of sight;
Sometimes his tinkling waters slipt
Down through a frost-leaved forest-crypt,
Long, sparkling aisles of steel-stemmed trees
Bending to counterfeit a breeze;
Sometimes the roof no fretwork knew
But silvery mosses that downward grew;
Sometimes it was carved in sharp relief
With quaint arabesques of ice-fern leaf;
Sometimes it was simply smooth and clear
For the gladness of heaven to shine through, and here
He had caught the nodding bulrush-tops
And hung them thickly with diamond drops,
Which crystalled the beams of moon and sun,
And made a star of every one:
No mortal builder's most rare device
Could match this winter-palace of ice;
Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Eveningby Robert Frost
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
Empathy
Lastly, I just want to touch on what it feels like to understand what another is going through and treat them as you would want to be treated if you were in their shoes. Things are so hectic, that person who was rude to you in the parking lot may not just be without manners, they might be hanging onto life by a thread.
Empathy is defined as the ability to recognize, understand, and share the thoughts and feelings of another person, animal, or fictional character. Emotion researchers generally define empathy as the ability to sense other people’s emotions, coupled with the ability to imagine what someone else might be thinking or feeling.
Please if you can, try to remember that the holidays are very, very hard for some people. Please be patient and understanding with them if you possibly can. It can be entirely overwhelming and they are struggling to just get through. Be someone who lifts others up please. Thank you. God Bless You and Yours. <3
“Keeping this case going is corrupting to the legal system.” -Stella Assange
Hear the truth about Julian Assange’s case in this Twitter Spaces podcast. This case is very important to our future. Listen here.
Today is the winter solstice. From today onward, there will be more light in our lives and on the northern hemisphere of the planet. Literally in the minutes that the sun shines, and literally in the amount of light each one of us beautiful souls carries and shines all around this amazingly diverse planet. A diversity that is uniquely ours as residents and caretakers of Earth. We are so lucky to have so many species of plants, insects, birds, fish, animals, rocks and trees. Weather that cycles and changes and washes us clean with skies that are constantly changing. The light has a magical effect at dawn and dusk and puts on a show for us almost every single day.
Taking some moments to empty our minds of all concerns, we can simply love the diversity of our experience here on Earth. If we were to step out of our physical shoes and be able to see ourselves and our existence from the vantage point of our higher selves, we could allow ourselves to see that our experience here is so rich with diversity.
Our experience allows us to feel such high highs and low lows and the quizzical state of mixed emotions. We have such grand mysteries in our past beginnings of civilization so that, we are trying to figure out who we really are as we watch our story unfold. We get to meet and interact with so many people coming from different geographical, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We have so many choices, it really is a wealth of choices we get to use to create our lives every day.
In spirit we communicate by thought, so there are no secrets… and it’s okay because there is no judgment either. But, to have this experience with this veil of forgetfulness in place is a gift. It is a gift because we can truly know who we are when placed in diverse circumstances by the choices we make and how we react. It is an artificial bubble allowing us to create with our choices, a life that is rich and full. The illusion of separateness is a gift. It gives us the alone time some of us sorely crave when we are in spirit.
The only thing better than alone time in this diverse experience is the thrill of awakening and discovering others are waking up too. The heartwarming skate toward Oneness and the joy of reconnecting on higher levels brings forth glee in the remembrance that we were always this way, always connected, always Love. It’s like the greatest detective story reveal ever written and being part of that story playing out on the grandest stage ever built.
The only thing better than that, is the discovery that while under that beautiful amnesia (that we chose to have,) we had no idea who else was out there in the Universe. We got to read stories about little green men and we got to sit under the stars on a clear night and gaze and wonder if there really were little green men. Then the surprise as the news comes out that not only have we been visited by other Universal beings, but some of them really were little green men. And then the diversity of growth in each of us individually and as a whole, as we go from being members of a global community to becoming members of a galactic community.
So the next time you or I forget to appreciate our experience here in this life, we only need to get our heads and hearts back into remembering and appreciating. All the atoms that come together to make up our clothes and food and furniture… our cars and houses and offices and stores and communities and computers and washing machines… our bodies and hair and skin and eyes… all the things that are here just for us, so we can be having this magical, diverse experience.
That is why we keep coming back to lives on Earth… because after the rich diversity of experiences here, we would be bored anywhere else. So, take a moment to take a step back and look at your life as if you were your higher self and just love the diversity of it.
