Dear Jesus Lord and Savior,

We raise ourselves up to You Oh Lord, and humble ourselves to all Your Mercies. “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2Chronicles 7:14) We stop our chatter, our distractions, our excuses, our justifications, our anxieties and fears and pause and lift our faces up to You, Oh Lord.

You are so patient with us. And kind. You know our greatest longings and see the contents of our hearts. We look into Your Face in humble repose, completely open, honest and sincere. Nothing else matters more than this Soul to Soul reconciliation with You, right now. All actions, words, thoughts, emotions and deeds are out on the table before us for Your Wise and Loving Eye. For You hold Humanity’s Heart in Your Blessed Hands.

This is not a matter of simply praying. This is a moment of coming clean. All of us. Each of us.

God’s Will be done. On Earth as it is in Heaven. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6) We are in Your Hands, in earnest, and responsibility and accountability is here.
