Create in us a clean heart, O God. Our faith remains strong. With praise and thanksgiving we give You honor for overcoming the tendencies of darkness and shining the Light of Truth on everything in our world. You are changing our world from Dark to Light and You are allowing us to see the ugly truth. Amidst all the current chaos, we still find a still quiet place and call to You for insight so we can lift our voices in understanding. We incline our ears to wisdom and direct our hearts toward understanding rather than reacting. We seek and search for this wisdom, for it is true treasure right now. “May we enter the paths of justice and discern righteousness. So you will follow in the ways of the good, and keep to the paths of the righteous. For the upright will inhabit the land, and the blameless will remain in it; but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the unfaithful will be uprooted.” (Proverbs 2:20-22)
And in this way, we destroy every proud obstacle that keeps us from knowing You.
