As the darkness falls, belief changes, Father. We no loner have controllers telling us what we are allowed to believe is real. Some of us might think that feels scary. Others gleefully happy dance at the thought of opening new doors. Father, thank you for hearing us. You always hear us.

Our liberty now lies in the power of our own belief. In You, in us because we were made in Your Image, anything is possible. And those possibilities exist because You love us. And they have been activated because Our Dear Jesus, You have woken us up. “There are twelve hours of daylight every day. During the day people can walk safely. They can see because they have the light of this world. But at night there is danger of stumbling because they have no light.”  We believe because You have come into our lives and shown us the way. When we close our eyes, we can still see Your Light. Our own Light shines because You have touched us awake. We are alive again because of You. “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this?” (John 11)

Dear Jesus thank you for touching us awake. Thank you for causing us to remember our Soul-Self, the part of us that is eternal because it was made in the image of our Creator. Thank you for knowing each of us intimately and loving us enough to wake us up and bring us out of the cave.
