We are, Father, putting on a new self.
We are, honoring all we been and all that has gone before to welcome a new reality.
We are in this moment, as infinite and powerful as we can be.
We are not victors and losers, but one family called Humanity.
When one suffers, we all feel it.
Let us lift one another up, let us embrace and heal.
Let us correct and clean out and re-establish the best of our past, so we can, in faith, boldly step forward into the new.
“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” (Colossians 3:12-13)
With loving gratitude,
In humble service,
Amen.
