Father,

When we get very, very quiet and still, we can feel Your presence within us. You are what gives us life and movement, the Source of all that is. Our very first Love, the only Love we have known that is so pure and real and true. Our Soul is part of You. Nothing even compares to the very first love song resonating in our hearts for You. There is nothing so beautiful and powerful. So overwhelming, it makes us cry. “Let your lives be guided by the Spirit, and not be led by the cravings of your lower nature.” (Galatians 5:16)

To truly know we are loved. To know what it feels like to be held in your arms and loved completely. To be blanketed by your grace and mercy. To be understood and loved just as we are, without having to prove anything or accomplish some great feat, or survive some great test. That Love that You fill us with in every moment of every day is what shines out and makes our Spirit sing. It kindles the fires of joy and brings us the most beautiful bliss. “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” (1John 3:1)

Thank you for allowing us to swim in that Love. Thank you for loving us so deeply. Thank you for claiming us as Your Children. For our connection to You is always eternal, and You Love us, no matter what. “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.” (Jeremiah 31:3)
