Father,
We come to you today, placing in Your hands, our concerns of the day along with everything we cannot control. We invite Your presence into our lives, upholding the truths of this day, as we work in service to You according to Your Will, “for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” (Philippians 2:13)
For we know You have a plan for us, and therefore we will do everything without grumbling or arguing. We strive to become blameless and pure “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” You know every bit of us intimately, Father. You know where our strengths lie and what could use a polish. We are willing to work on those aspects of ourselves, according to Your direction and Your Word. “Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.” (Philippians 15-16)
Because we know, Father, that in this glorious Now, that You are doing a new thing and You are making miracles happen. Glory be to You for the elevation of us, and Glory to You for the transformation of our world. We willingly and lovingly engage with this amazing experience of the metamorphosis of our reality, and we praise You and we celebrate it. “But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.” (Philippians 17-18)
In loving trust and complete devotion,
In the name of The King,
Amen.
