Father,

We come before you today in this quiet moment, where we let the cares and concerns of the outer world drift away and come to be inside where You dwell. You want us to let the Love You are beaming to us, to sink in. You want us to stop all the distractions of the world and allow God’s Love to permeate every cell in our physical body. You want us to truly feel it. When we connect with You like this, we feel a divine hum through our whole being. We can see Your Light even with our eyes closed. We can see our own also, in fact, it’s difficult to see where ours ends and Yours begins.

It cleanses us and it reassures us because we know that whatever is going on in the world, we can also take the time to stop and get quiet and connect with you in the here and now. The practice of connecting with You is more real and alive than anything else we could do. Being connected with You gives the gift of life. You are literally electrifying the life force within us, right now. When we open up our awareness and are willing to have the experience of You touching us and filling us with Love, it is a profound experience. It is intimate and personal all the way to the Soul. You know us deeply with all of our quirks and chinks, and You love us to our very essence, still, always.

Thank you for helping us learn to let go of all of our worries and concerns and trusting You. Thank you for giving us the gift of experiencing this life. It truly is an honor to walk this path You have created for us. Our path is lit with the light of benevolence and paved with Your kindness and mercy. May we always have the grace to place our feet with care. May we be strengthened with each step we take. May our faith remain a powerful force that drives our actions to be that of making an impact on the world with Your Love.
