Father,
A healing moment has arrived. A time to collect oneself and take inventory. A time to put everything down and let our bodies recenter and rest. For all we put our bodies through Father, these wonderful masterpieces that You created, our bodies deserve a day of pause.
So the creation of the heavens and the earth and everything in them was completed. On the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation. ( Genesis 2:1-3)
Bless this day, Father, to assess, to play, to catch up, and to rest.
May our hands rest and become ready.
May our legs strengthen and recharge.
May all our tissues and organs become restored.
May our spine realign and reconfigure.
May our emotions rebalance and calm.
May our sensing and thinking be renewed and optimized.
May our hearts heal and be cleansed and strong.
For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His. (Hebrews 4:10)
