Thank you for this gift of being able to discover how strong we are, Father. It is truly a gift to be appreciated and utilized. Blessed are we who are able to put one foot in front of the other on Your lighted path, with our trust in You. You will keep in perfect peace the steadfast of mind, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, because GOD the LORD is the Rock eternal. (Isaiah 26:3-4)

You have humbled those who dwell on high. You have brought the lofty city low. Be our rock and fortify our strength. “The path of the righteous is level; You clear a straight path for the upright.” (Isaiah 26:7) To be one with You is the desire of our souls, the Light for which we long in the night, and the majesty our spirit seeks at dawn. For Your grace is shown to the wicked man, though he acts unjustly, and Your children of the world learn righteousness.

Let the beauty of our nature and the strength of our compassion carry the day. Though the wicked may howl and gnash their teeth, our faith in You, Father, only gets stronger. The fire is set for your enemies and they will be consumed. “O Lord, You will establish peace for us. For all that we have accomplished, You have done for us.” (Isaiah 26:12) You have Dominion, Father, and our faith is in You.
