Father,

We are the vine that grows along the banks of the calm waters of everlasting life. You guide us and nurture the parts of us that will be beneficial and you trim away the parts of us bear fruit and prune the parts that we just don’t need anymore because we are in the light now, and we’ve outgrown them. It feels like we are losing a part of us, but in truth You are sculpting and molding, with tremendous love and care. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. (John 15:2)

You are The Great Gardener and when we put our trust in Your Hands, we will always be the better. We will be stronger, better, more resilient, lighter, happier and more fulfilled because we invited You into our lives, and into our world. We bear fruit because of Your Presence. It is all part of the song we sing in celebration of the beauty of life, in glory to Your Name. May we embody the teachings of Yeshua wholly and fully and may we master our fears, anger and anxieties and maintain our focus in The Light.
