Father,

Your most beautiful creations come out of tribulation. The strength of the human spirit shines through in these times. To rise above the chaos and the tumult and stand in the light. You created us to be that rising, shining light that cannot be extinguished. “For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people.” (Titus 2:11)

May all those in fear be strengthened and comforted. May we all find an inner strength honed from the hottest fires. May the beauty of our greatest compassion emerge from the white hot fire of our hearts. May we stand for what is good and holy to renounce ungodly values and behaviors and live sensible, upright godly lives, and to know what that really means. “This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1Timothy 2:4)

For it is our direct connection with You, Father, that gives life its meaning and extra dimension. By focusing on the greater values You have shown and taught and guided and directed us to embrace, we are growing and shining even more brightly than yesterday and will be of greater service to You in our brighter tomorrow. For it is that, that gives us the strength to bear today’s chaos and see our way through confusion to step into The Light. “But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.” (Titus 3:4-5)
