Prayer of Mercy and Grace

Father,

We come to You in our time of need for mercy and grace. In this quiet moment, we ask to be heard. To approach the Throne of Grace in petition for gentle care and intervention on behalf of all those who are suffering. With reverent submission, we humbly ask for peace and healing in our world. As we become fully present in this moment now, we inventory our hearts and minds for the wisdom we’ve gained on the lighted path on which you’ve brought us. Your message is plainly in front of us. It is the compassion of the human heart that will enable us to rise above challenges that try to drag us down. “During the days of Jesus’ earthly life, He offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the One who could save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverence.” (Hebrews 5:7)

We make a plea to You in the name of compassion to open the door of freedom that brings grace to all who are suffering. Because we’ve suffered, we understand what is truly important, along with what is not. We humbly ask to bring salvation for so many and unlock the hearts that are still locked. To touch the souls of those who have forgotten and bring them to life again. To know again the tender original Love from whence we came. To remember ourselves as the soul that we are, and to see others that way too. Without realizing it Father, we’ve been chasing after it with a need and a hunger, but never quite seem to attain for any permanence. But You know. You’ve brought us through these experiences to bring us back to ourselves. Which is here inside, as we receive mercy and find grace, through You.

In humble service,

In the name of The King,

Amen.
