Father,

It is by Your Light that we can see things more clearly. Through Your divine illumination we are able to understand and gain knowledge and wisdom. There are so many things we don’t quite understand right now, but it is in You that we anchor our faith and hope. Be merciful to us, it is in Your Wings that our souls take refuge until the destroying storms pass by. No matter what the storms stir up, no matter how hard the rain pelts and how strongly the wind doth blow… even when we worry and fret, we know you will pull us through, and we will be better because of it.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel; it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, “The one who is righteous will live by faith.” (Romans 1:16-17)

With love, we release all fear, anger and resentment to You to transform into blessings. Thank you Father for bringing us opportunities to strengthen our faith as we get to know ourselves and our world better. Thank you for bringing us healing as we climb the steps higher into wholeness and freedom. As we peel off old beliefs, our faith becomes stronger and shines more brightly, lighting up the world in new positive ways. We release to You the things that blocked us from expressing who we truly are, so that we can share ourselves more fully and completely. Our hearts are steadfast and we will sing and make melody.

Awake, my soul!
Awake, O harp and lyre!
